Your Gift Can Make A Difference
The Makerspace holds a unique position on campus as a central resource for students, faculty, and staff from every academic unit. In the 2024-2025 academic year alone, we logged 9,147 individual visits and supported 40 unique courses! Our state-of-the-art equipment, materials, and expert staff enable cutting-edge research, in-class instruction, and creative exploration.
To ensure that making remains accessible to all, we never charge for use of our space or machinery and we heavily subsidize, or even eliminate, the cost of consumable materials such as wood, acrylic, paints, and 3D filament. None of this would be possible without the generous support of the Baylor family.
Each year, we spend $15,000 - $20,000 on consumable supplies. Your donation, no matter the amount, makes a real, immediate difference to our Makerspace community.
