Baylor Library Services
BearCat is our online catalogue for searching for books, DVD's, microforms, CD's, and other resources owned by the Baylor University Libraries. BearCat has a feature, "Your Library Record," which lets you check which books you have out, lets you renew books if they can be renewed, check on reserve items, and even a link to use BearCat from your cell phone or PDA. BearSpace provides 500 megabytes of disk space to Baylor students, faculty, and staff and allows an individual to store copies of important documents such as homework, notes, papers, and graphics on a system that is accessible from anywhere on the Internet.
- BoxBox is a cloud-based system that allows you store documents online so you can access, manage and share them from anywhere. You can access, share and collaborate on files using your computer or mobile device. Box is compatable with iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
- BrowzineBrowZine is an app for your iPad or Android-based tablet that enables Baylor faculty, staff and students to browse, read and monitor many of Baylor Library's scholarly journals.
With BrowZine, you can:
Browse and read e-journals by subject
Create your own bookshelf and be notified when new issues are published
Save articles for offline reading or export to other web services
Getting Items from Other Libraries
The Baylor University Libraries can borrow books and get copies of journal articles for you from other libraries at no cost to current Baylor students, faculty, administration, and staff. It is sometimes possible to borrow DVD's, dissertations, and audio-visual materials as well. - TexShare CardTexShare cards allow Baylor students and faculty to check out books from other participating libraries in Texas. This link give you more information and provides the online application for a TexShare card from Baylor.
