Psychology Research and Ethics (Frisch): Library Services

Resources and Baylor University Libraries Services for students in the Psychology Department

Baylor Library Services

BearCat is our online catalogue for searching for books, DVD's, microforms, CD's, and other resources owned by the Baylor University Libraries.  BearCat has a feature, "Your Library Record," which lets you check which books you have out, lets you renew books if they can be renewed, check on reserve items, and even a link to use BearCat from your cell phone or PDA.  Check our our tutorial Finding Books to learn more about effectively using BearCat.

BearSpace provides 500 megabytes of disk space to Baylor students, faculty, and staff and allows an individual to store copies of important documents such as homework, notes, papers, and graphics on a system that is accessible from anywhere on the Internet.

Getting Items from Other Libraries

The Baylor University Libraries can borrow books and get copies of journal articles for you from other libraries at no cost to current Baylor students, faculty, administration, and staff.  It is sometimes possible to borrow DVD's, dissertations, and audio-visual materials as well.  For more information on our interlibrary loan services (called OsoFast) check out our tutorial or go to the Libraries' Interlibrary Services web page.
