From Student to Professional - the importance of research literature
Students transitioning to professionals/practitioners in the field of Social Work (and no longer having a valid computer account login or Bear ID) will still want to access the research literature as they integrate research and practice.
This page provides two categories of resource links. Some links are freely accessible (open access) resources and some links are resources that identify (research literature, etc.) that you will have to further investigate for access options.
Provides full-text access to Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and Cochrane Clinical Answers.
Cochrane Database of Systemtic Reviews (CDSR) contains both systematic reviews articles and protocols for the health sciences.
Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) contains bibliographic reports for randomized and quasi-randomized controlled trials.
Cochrane Clinical Answers (CCAs) provides questions, short answers, and outcome data based from Cochrane Reviews for clinical decision making.
Provides full-text to pre-prints, accepted manuscripts, and published articles on biomedical and life sciences collected at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).
