Who Are We?

Part of the Learning Design team, Instructional Support Services (ISS) is a single point of contact for faculty seeking assistance with Canvas course administration and guidance on digital pedagogy.

What Do We Do?

ISS bridges the gap in the course design lifecycle between initial development and substantial redevelopment. Following our threefold service model, our specialists:

  • Manage routine course maintenance, leaving faculty free to focus on teaching.
  • Engage faculty in productive “what-if ” conversations to improve learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate learning technologies that enhance students’ experiences.

How Can We Help?

Canvas Course Readiness

Allowing specialists to make Canvas course changes ensures course accessibility and ease of use for students and faculty.

Incremental Course Changes

We work with faculty to prioritize changes, develop a plan for implementing those changes, and see the plan through to completion.

Faculty Onboarding & Training

Our resources, workshops, and one-on-one consultations are designed to help both new and experienced faculty.
