Remote Recording for 2+ People
Remote recording with two or more participants? In the same room or multiple locations?
If in multiple locations, a conference tool will facilitate the conversation and may provide a video of the gallery or that follows the speaker, but this should not be the only video source for videos where post-production is planned.
Preferably, each location should have its own recording.
The best camera in your home is likely your phone. Our team can send you a mobile recording kit including a ring light, mobile phone mount, and mini shotgun mic. The Zoom or Teams recording WITH collected individual recordings of each participant gives you extra security that your effort isn't wasted, and gives our team greater flexibility during post-production to provide a great product.

Option 1: Zoom or Teams
Zoom and Teams facilitate video call recording with internal and external participants. Recordings may be uploaded to Kaltura for use in Canvas.
Web-conference recordings alone are not preferred if post-production is desired.
Option 2: Zoom or Teams + Mobile Phone Recordings
In this scenario, the web-conferencing tool provides a group recording, and each participant records locally using a camera and mic separate from the computer.
Production team may:
•Provide lighting and microphone.
• Assist with remote studio setup and checks.
• Receive and edit raw video.
Talent will:
• Run web conference.
• Provide phone camera.
• Upload local recordings.
Our production team can arrange and highlight speakers, color correct and balance sound, add graphics and branding, and cover for mistakes.
