The Arts and Special Collections Research Center offers a significant number of resources - FOR YOU!

• approx. 54,000 print books
• over 64,000 CDs and LPs

In addition to these print resources, the libraries host thousands of e-books and e-journals; and over 800 databases.

How are things organized?

  • Materials are organized by the Library of Congress classification system.  Music materials are labeled with a call number that starts with "M".   Use this guide to pinpoint your browsable area.

Where are definitions for musical terms?

What if the libraries doesn't have a title I need?

  • OSOFast. Service of the Baylor Libraries that gets materials from other libraries for your use (traditionally known as interlibrary loan service, or ILL). For faculty and graduate students, OsoFast can also provide digital copies of print journal articles that we have here.
