Welcome to your biology subject guide. This guide contains general information about library services and resources, recommendations for research resources in biology, STEM research services, and citation resources.
Biology at Baylor University is divided into two subcategories: Cell, Molecular, Health, and Disease (CMHD), which includes cancer biology, tropical disease and vector biology, global health, evolutionary medicine, cellular and molecular biology, developmental biology, neurobiology, biotechnology, and bioinformatics, and Ecology, Evolution and Organismal (EEO) biology, which includes bioenergetics, animal behavior and physiology, evolution, conservation biology, global change biology, global health, and ecology.
The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the library resources and services available to Baylor faculty, staff, and students interested in this subject area.
This library guide is part of our “spotlight on the disciplines” literacy tier. In this tier you will be introduced to advanced academic research skills. These skills are developed by working with research librarians in upper-level courses specific to their discipline. The spotlight represents the in-depth instruction, library guides, advanced search strategies, and research consultations provided by the research & engagement librarians.
