Welcome to your communication sciences and disorders subject guide. This guide contains general information about library services and resources, recommendations for research resources in communication sciences and disorders, STEM research services, and citation resources.
Research conducted by the faculty in Baylor's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders covers a wide range of issues related to human communications including aphasia, audiology, speech pathology, and American Sign Language. The projects undertaken, and the instructional opportunities they inspire ensure CSD students at all levels are exposed to a wide variety of perspectives and gain a deep awareness of the science of communication.
The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the library resources and services available to Baylor faculty, staff, and students interested in this subject area.
This library guide is part of our “spotlight on the disciplines” literacy tier. In this tier you will be introduced to advanced academic research skills. These skills are developed by working with research librarians in upper-level courses specific to their discipline. The spotlight represents the in-depth instruction, library guides, advanced search strategies, and research consultations provided by the research & engagement librarians.
