Welcome to your human sciences and design subject guide. This guide contains general information about library services and resources, recommendations for research resources in the human sciences and design disciplines, STEM research services, and citation resources.
Research conducted by the faculty in Baylor's Department of Human Sciences and Design focuses on the improvement of the quality of life and human experience for individuals, families, and communities by advancing education, scholarship, and service related to nutrition, apparel, the built environment, human development, and family relationships.
The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the library resources and services available to Baylor faculty, staff, and students interested in this subject area.
This library guide is part of our “spotlight on the disciplines” literacy tier. In this tier you will be introduced to advanced academic research skills. These skills are developed by working with research librarians in upper-level courses specific to their discipline. The spotlight represents the in-depth instruction, library guides, advanced search strategies, and research consultations provided by the research & engagement librarians.
