Ebooks: Kindles

As previously mentioned, Kindles do not work with e-books that use Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) for digital rights management (DRM).  However, any e-book PDFs not protected by DRM can be read on Kindles.  However, the process of placing the PDFs on a Kindle varies, depending on the version of the Kindle.  Below is information from Amazon for the different Kindle versions:
