Provides a view of Africa - the development of its countries, population, conflicts, and politics - over time from 1879 - 2002. When in the map its a good idea to click on the help button (the ?) to get oriented first.

Provides 20 maps of Liberia used by or developed for the American Colonization Society (ACS) in its plans to resettled free African Americans in Liberia. Includes maps of regions given to the ACS by the native chiefs, settlement patterns, and other maps of early Liberia created independently of ACS.
