Census Bureau - community profiles
The Census Bureau is a great way to locate basic demographic information for people and businesses in the United States. Go to data.census.gov and enter the name of the location you are seeking. The next page gives you an introductory look at your location. In the left column, you will see links that will allow you to narrow in on a specific area such as People and Population or Education. Looking here will let you look at a more narrow area, such as Age. This will also provide access to the table the data is derived from.
