How to Export a selection in Finale to Microsoft Word
open Finale and setup the measure(s) to look as you want them to in Word
click on the "Graphics Tool" on the main tool palet
create a box around whatever you want to import into Word (execute a type of double clicking such that the second click is held down as you create a box = click, clickhold and drag to enclose the area and then let go)
under the "Graphics" menu at the top of the screen, click on "Export Selection..."
choose "EPS" next to "Type:" in the popup, duplicate the other selections below, and click "OK"
open Microsoft Word
place the curser in Word where you want the picture to go
you must go to the insert menu (or tab) and choose picture (if you just drag it into Word it will not import it in high quality).
