This manuscript is a Book of Psalms that was Commissioned by Sir Geoffrey Luttrell and was completed around 1340. Luttrell and his family appear in the codex, and the landscapes depicted could be parts of the Luttrell estate or nearby locations. The miniatures depicts everyday medieval life with a sense of humor and the beasts of the marginalia are amazing.
