Building your report: Adding a chart
Using the Chart Tool, user can add charts to their reports to help visualize data.
Reporting Tools cannot be strung together one after the other since the dataset dosn't make it through as a separate table and chart. The Chart Tool must be connected directly to the dataset.
In the Configuration Pane, locate and click on the Configure Chart button.
A dialog box will appear where the chart can be defined.
Suppose we would like to build a bar chart showing the Worldwide Box Office earnings for each of the Marvel movies. Click on the Add Layer button. Then add a title for the chart. Select Bar from the Type dropdown menu. Set the X (Marvel Movies) and Y (Worldwide Box Office) axis labels.
Now, let's resize the chart so that it will fit with our table. Click on Chart. In the dialog box, click on Inches and make our chart 14 inches (W) by 10 inches (H). When done, close the window. Add a Browse Tool to the workflow and click Run. Click on the Browse Tool to see the chart.
