Highlights from Hebrew Bible collection

       (Codex babylonicus petropolitanus)

Hebrew Bible, also called Hebrew Scriptures, Old Testament, or Tanakh,  collection of writings that was first compiled and preserved as the sacred books of the Jewish people. It also constitutes a large portion of the Christian Bible, known as the Old Testament. Except for a few passages in Aramaic, appearing mainly in the apocalyptic Book of Daniel, these scriptures were written originally in Hebrew during the period from 1200 to 100 bce. The Hebrew Bible probably reached its current form about the 2nd century ce. (Britannica)
