Using Leganto Reading Lists in Canvas

Student Usage Reports

Instructors can use the View Lists Analysis feature in Leganto to better understand how students are engaging with their reading list and course materials through out the semester. Student usage data is updated daily and can be viewed by clicking the graph icon marked below:

 

 

The student analytics feature provides data at both the reading list and citation level. Statistics at the reading list level includes how many items are on the list, the number of students in the course, how many students have accessed the reading list, the number of times students have accessed the full text of course materials, and the number of loans from items on physical course reserves. Statistics at the citation level includes the number of active students in the course, the number of students who viewed the full text of the item, how many students marked the item as done, and the number of loans for an item on physical course reserves:

 

 

Student usage reports can also be exported from the reading list by clicking the "Export" link, shown in the image above.
