The Arts and Special Collections Research Center holds over 48,000 rare and unique items. In this guide we are highlighting materials published in the 19th century. These titles hold a wealth of information on topics ranging from literature to medicine, slavery to geology, Native Americans to the Civil War, Bible commentaries to life in 19th Century America and a little bit of everything in between. We have poetry, theatrical works, memoirs, sermons, Bibles, significant imprints, and so much more!
