Welcome to your physical therapy subject guide. This guide contains general information about library services and resources, recommendations for research resources in physical therapy and rehabilitation, STEM research services, and citation resources.
Research conducted by the faculty in Baylor's Doctor of Physical Therapy programs illustrates the breadth of the field with studies related to orthopedics, geriatric wellness, pediatric development, trauma recovery and rehabilitation, and motion and mobility. The programs are designed to promote professional and scholarly excellence such that DPT candidates are well-equipped to use research findings effectively in professional applications.
The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the library resources and services available to Baylor faculty, staff, and students interested in this subject area.
This library guide is part of our “spotlight on the disciplines” literacy tier. In this tier you will be introduced to advanced academic research skills. These skills are developed by working with research librarians in upper-level courses specific to their discipline. The spotlight represents the in-depth instruction, library guides, advanced search strategies, and research consultations provided by the research & engagement librarians.
