Use this to learn how to link to the full text of a Baylor-owned journal article or other electronic resource that you want your students to use. Using a link like this complies fully with copyright law and will generate behind-the-scenes usage statistics so the librarian knows which e-resources are being used. This linking works for both on and off campus access.
Note the EBSCO tab in the example -- CINAHL is an EBSCOHost database.
Your Nursing Librarian can provide your students with course-related instruction that focuses on their specific research needs. We can provide in-class demonstrations on searching databases such as CINAHL, MEDLINE using the EBSCO or PubMed interfaces, The Cochrane Library, other electronic resources such as Stat!Ref, Micromedex, AccessMedicine, or citation management tools such as RefWorks to help demystify APA formatting.
This is not a comprehensive list, so if you don't see it listed here, please ask! Faculty can reach the Nursing Librarian by calling (972) 576-9200, emailing; or stopping by the NLRC in the basement of the LHSON Academic Building at 333 N. Washington Avenue in Dallas.
