Register now for your ScienceDirect account.  It's free and after registering, you will be able to 

•Save searches

•Create Search Alerts and Volume/Issue Alerts

Follow these steps to set up a search alert for publications:

• Search or browse for the publication you want to receive alerts and open the publication home page.
• Select ‘Set up journal/book series/handbook alerts' in the content section and choose the alert type.
• Select ‘Save’.

OR

• Select your username at the top navigation bar.
• Select ‘Manage alerts’.
• At the bottom of the 'journal and book series alerts' page, select ‘Find a publication to add’.
• Browse for the publication you want to receive alerts and open the publication home page.
• Select ‘Set up journal/book series/handbook alerts' in the content section and choose the alert type.
• Select ‘Save’.

After you have performed your search, follow these directions:

• On the results page, select ‘Set search alert’.
• Enter the name of the search alert.
• Select the frequency in which you want the search to run.
• Select ‘Save’.
