Tips for piano music and piano pedagogy resources

  • scores for the piano are in the call # range of M20 - M39 ; however, some works like 'etudes' and other studies may be located in the MT sections listed below.
  • instruction and study or pedagogy books/scores are in the call # range of MT220 - MT258


Where are definitions for musical terms?


What databases can I access?

    • Database A-Z list.  From the subject list, choose "music" to see just the resources for your discipline. You can also browse by content type or search for words in the title or description.


What if the libraries doesn't have a title I need?

    • OSOFast. Service of the Baylor Libraries that gets materials from other libraries for your use (traditionally known as interlibrary loan service, or ILL). For faculty and graduate students, OsoFast can also provide digital copies of print journal articles that we have here.


Is there help for starting my paper?

    • This tool can help you track your steps in writing a paper. Once you add your due date, you will receive emails to help guide you through each stage of writing.
