Academic Technology Learning Design Fellows Program
Each summer, Academic Technology Learning Design offers two teaching fellowships to encourage the creation of quality online courses with the assistance of an instructional designer for use in Baylor graduate and undergraduate curricula. (Applications not currently being accepted.)
Designing Instruction for Virtual Engagement (DIVE)*
DIVE is a six week online program for faculty interested in learning the fundamental theories and practices of designing and teaching high quality online and hybrid courses.
DEEP DIVE is a six-week program for faculty who want to build on the skills developed in dive and explore an in-depth learning experience focused on advancing their teaching skills across different modalities. Whether teaching in-person or online, this six-week program offers valuable insights and tools to help faculty discover their teaching strengths, engage students effectively, optimize learning outcomes, and create inclusive and engaging learning communities in all learning environments.
Designing for Online Teaching Success (DOTS)
DOTS is a six-week, online program for doctoral students interested in learning the theory and practice of designing and teaching high quality online courses.
Learning Design Just in Time (LDJiT)
LDJIT is a way for faculty to engage with evidence-based learning design best-practices at a time and place when faculty need the information. Faculty time is limited and therefore, do not always have the time to attend hour long webinars. The asynchronous LDJIT modules were created and curated to support the busy faculty.
*DIVE and DEEP DIVE are not sequential courses, you may complete the courses based on your schedule and in your preferred order.
