HIST 1300 Declarations of Independence

A survey was created for you to enter in information for your semester project about your chosen topics.

The survey will ask you to enter information regarding:

1. The category of your project entry (such as: American Revolution in Global Contexts, European Origins, Slavery, etc).
2. The topic within that category you'll be covering (for example, if you chose European Origins, one of the possible sub-topics you can chose is John Locke).
3. The start (or birth) date of your topic.
4. The end (or death) date of your topic (if applicable; not all sub-topics will have an end/death date).
5. The location of your topic.(City, State/Province, Country is best, but just Country will work if necessary).
6. A summary paragraph about your topic.
7. A link (URL) to an image about your topic.

Important Reminder:

• Make sure the image URL is pointing to an actual image!
  1. Be sure to right-click on the image you find online and select select "Open image in a new tab,"  and then copy the URL from that new tab. This URL should only contain the image/media and end in an extension like .jpg or .png.
  2. A good way to check if an image can be used is to open a new browser tab and paste in the image URL you just copied to verify it is indeed an actual image before pasting it into the survey. It should end with an image extension (.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png).
