Familiarize yourself with the Museum tab of the Research Guidelines put together for us by Arts Librarian Sha Towers.
Click through all the websites listed for Renaissance exhibitions in the past ten years.
Select 2 or 3 exhibitions that interest you and do further research beginning to think about 3-5 objects that you would include in your prospectus.
Order the catalog via Osofast for the 2 or 3 exhibitions. THIS MAY TAKE 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS!!
If the EXHIBITIONS don’t have catalogs, find books or articles on the same topic and incorporate info from the website. (Include dates ordered in your Prospectus)
Find reviews of the exhibitions. (Include in your Prospectus)
Email Sha for an appointment via zoom or in-person.

If you do nothing until Sha comes, you will not be able to submit an informed and appropriate Prospectus on February 28.

Meet with Sha Towers to review your research plan.
Think about what you might argue in your paper (NOT yet a thesis statement)
Compose a list of questions about the objects and the artist that might contribute to your argument
Develop a bibliography (10-12 print sources + online websites)
